BACKGROUND: Specific T-cell activation requires T-cell receptor stimulation and the
generation of costimulatory signals. Major costimulatory signals are delivered to T cells by
the interaction of CD28 and inducible costimulator (ICOS). OBJECTIVE: To investigate the
