T-cell vaccination
IR Cohen, HL Weiner - Immunology today, 1988 - Elsevier
Vaccination of autoimmune patients with subpathogenic doses of T cells specific for the
autoantigen may ameliorate autoimmune reactions, possibly through the generation of
'anticlonotypic'T cells that inhibit the patient's autoreactive T cells. A small group of basic and
clinical immunologists recently gathered to discuss possible mechanisms of action and
clinical applications.
