cells; it is bracing and intellectually satisfying to see a person express his or her opinion in a
forthright and unequivocal manner. However, I would like for the sake of argument to take
the opposite point of view. I will follow your example, and present this perspective only,

Dear Goran, I enjoyed reading your provocative article on the non-existence of suppressor T cells; it is bracing and intellectually satisfying to see a person express his or her opinion in a forthright and unequivocal manner. However, I would like for the sake of argument to take the opposite point of view. I will follow your example, and present this perspective only, although I share some of your doubts and concerns, and agree that there is a great need to arrive at a definitive description of a suppressor T cell, its receptors and secreted products, and the enigmatic IJ molecule. Finally, I would like to invite you, in the manner of my late colleague and the earliest champion of suppressorology, Dr Richard K. Gershon, to back your point of view with the wager ofa bottle of fine Burgundian wine; I am prepared to do the same.
