Abstract
Hyperglycemia accompanies a myriad of clinical conditions and causes an acceleration in the nonenzymatic glycosylation (NEG) of proteins. Since many proteins lose function when glycosylated, we assessed the effect of hyperglycemia on the function of immunoglobulin G.
